The richness of the past
- Technord was founded in1988 when three companies with complementary activities merger :
- Technique Electrique Industrielle (Belgium, 1945)
General electricity and electromechanical company
- Technord Automation (Belgium, 1982)
Company specialising in industrial information technology, automatism and networks.
- La Technique (Belgium, 1988)

- In 1997, Technord Automation opened a subsidiary in France called Technord France s.a.s. (Villeneuve d'Ascq).
- In 2004, Technord started a company called Techrom IT in Iasi, in Romania, specialised in automation and industial information technology. In this way, Technord intends to meet the growing needs of Eastern countries.
- In 2010, Technord France s.a.s. opened a second subsidiary in Lyon (France).
An evolving activity
Technord's activity has evolved with technology and the needs of companies. Initially focused on electrical wiring, the company has developed itself into the design, assemblies, installation, commissioning and maintenance of advanced industrial equipment.
Management
The company has been managed since 1988 by its founder Michel Foucart, Chairman of the Technord Management Board, and since June 2010, by his son Philippe, CEO of the group.
